Minn Kota Trolling AP Power Drive Steering Motor Housing Assy ALL METAL #2307030, #2301840, #2301842. Cast Aluminum Top and bottom. Heavy Duty. Used but in good working order. This steering motor is compatible with "white top cover" units with black composite shafts.
ONE MORE NOTE: If you have a steering issue (either L or R steer isn't working) it is more than likely that the contacts on your foot pedal are worn out. However if both Left and Right are not working, its a good chance your steering motor is bad. The steering motor can be disconnected under the speed control cover and wired directly to a 12v battery to test.
This comes from an Authorized Minn Kota Service Center in MN. My grandfather is getting older and after 27 years of fixing motors, he closed down his shop.
